Mallorcan heritage
Mallorca's cultural and agricultural heritage is rich and vibrant, deeply rooted in its history and traditions. Beyond its stunning sea and beaches, the island boasts ancient olive groves, expansive vineyards, and picturesque almond orchards. Stone terraces and windmills dot the landscape, reflecting centuries-old farming practices. Local animals, such as donkeys, sheep, and chickens, have played a crucial role in this heritage. Donkeys were essential for transporting goods across the island's rugged terrain while sheep provided wool and meat, and chickens were integral to daily farm life, providing eggs and meat. We aim to bring the captivating beauty and diversity of Mallorca to life in our gallery.
Nepal by the sea - a tissah & indi project
Tissah and Indi is a project that combines slow fashion with environmental art. We explore the boundaries of art and fashion by getting art off the walls and onto our bodies. This series of artwork - CityZen - is based on seven paintings by Spanish artist Indi, inspired by the rich fauna of Asia, and the relationship between humans and nature. Each painting is connected to the Chakra philosophy, relating to energy centers within the body. We have chosen silk as our canvas for this wearable art series. Masterfully spun and intricately handwoven, the silk and cashmere shawls have a beautiful sheen and fall to them. We hope you treasure this unique blend of luxury and art. These large and luxuriously soft shawls are made with 100% silk or 100% cashmere hand woven in Nepal.
